I can’t believe I have got this far!!! What an amazing opportunity! Being given the chance to go to Boot Camp is fantastic, This has totally confirmed my desire and ambitions to become a TV Presenter.

My background is mostly within the corporate world, although I have always had a passion for News Reading but never really had the opportunity or confidence to do anything about it. About 2 years ago I realised that life is just too short and that I should try and make my dreams become a reality, so I decided to get out from behind my desk and take a Voiceover Course. I thought that would be a great new career path to take. I loved the course and felt really comfortable behind the microphone! It was good to just be me and let my personality come through. I feel I am a confident person and I really enjoy meeting and getting to know people...oh and I love travelling and discovering new places too!

Unfortunately the world of Voiceovers proved to be insanely competitive. There seemed to be so many girls with a similar voice to mine out there working already which has made it very hard to get a break…I still haven’t given up though! Since then I have been doing some work as a Supporting Artist on different TV Shows, Commercials and Films, which has been fun, and good experience.

TV Presenting always felt like it was out of my reach and therefore I didn’t pursue these ambitions until recently. I took a Presenting course late last year and have not looked back since! Getting through to the finals of Search For A Presenter has given me so much more confidence in myself. I am friendly, genuine, warm and approachable and I have always been very outgoing. I believe these personal qualities would be great for TV Presenting. To win would be incredible…I can’t believe I could be Presenting my own show!!! That would mean everything to me! I really feel I have given it 110% so far and will continue to do so in the final stages. I hope everyone watching the show will see that and get behind me! Wish me luck!
