Glamour Job™ founder Valerie Haydon left school age 16 with a dream to become a Fashion Designer. Her dream was subsequently quashed due to lack of vocational guidance information and pressure to get a "normal job". Through further education in her own time and having the courage to go after her dreams, she has carved an extremely successful and rewarding career in Television, Radio, Travel and Leisure Development. Her career has taken her all round the world and she has set up and recruited for many multi million dollar projects. Her achievements have often been made against all odds, not least of which was having to undergo lifesaving heart surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital as an infant and overcoming the sudden death of her partner along the way.
