Since I was 18 I have worked in Fashion Retail from
sales to senior director. During my working years I felt that there
was always something missing which is a life in television.
I have always wanted to work in television and now I
have the chance to take a year’s sabbatical to explore my dream and
make it become a reality.
I want to win the glamour job, the ultimate dream come true , so
hopefully in my 36th year , I will live the dream!

Having grown up in “the business
they call SHOW”, it has always been in my blood and performing is a
true passion of mine. I am a trained actress and voice over artist and
at the age of thirty, now really want to move into presenting.
I have two of the most amazing
children in the world... and I’m doing this as much for them as I am
for myself.
I would love to become LIFE TV’s
next presenter…it would be like all my Christmas’s come at once. I
love the outdoors and the opportunity to do a job I love …well. it
would be just fantastic…wish me luck x

Howard Corlett
'Starting his career in tourism, Howard
worked overseas as a holiday rep and entertainer as well as travelling
the world looking for the next best holiday locations and contracting
hotels from the spit and sawdust kind to the all singing, all dancing
5* pampering resorts.
Having flirted with a career in
performing arts for years, Howard jacked in the stable corporate
environment for the life of an actor and does not regret a day! This
past year has seen him appear as Bill Calhoun in Kiss Me Kate at the
Minack Theatre, Captain Scarlet in advertising for the new Gerry
Anderson TV series, as well as playing Rick Blaine in the BBC Film
Club's adaptation of Casa Blanca.
He is an accomplished dancer winning the
UK salsa championships in 2001 and featuring in the BBC's Strictly
Dance Fever televised Finals alongside Graham Norton and speaks
French, Spanish and Portuguese. Howard is currently filming in two
independent feature films and has just finished a trailer for a Lord
of the Rings fan club film where he ran around forests as a ranger
fighting hill trolls and orcs.
Being selected to present on SEE TV
would be a dream job for Howard who has been hunting around for that
presenting break after enjoying making appearances at Thomson on their
in-house TV channel.'

Caroline Smith
My passion for presenting started at the age of 6 when my dad bought
our
first video camera! It was then when I realised how much fun I had in
front
of the camera and in performing to an audience.
Since then, throughout my
entire school years I have excelled and increased my passion for drama
and
performing. Not only did I play lead roles in productions, but to earn
some extra pocket money on the weekends I extended my performance
talents to
dress up as ‘Penny the Penguin’ at a local zoo and meet and greet the
kids
(now that’s dedication)!
Since then I have worked for
Nickelodeon
television, featured in an Orange mobile advert, and am currently
finishing
a Broadcast Journalism degree at University. It’s here at University
where I
left my drama days behind me and considered my future as a television
presenter as I began to learn more about the television industry.
I want to
win the presenter search competition for one simple reason, because
presenting is what I love to do. I think I would be good as a
television
presenter because I am confident, relaxed, genuine and fun! I couldn’t
think
of a better job description than the one that presenting has to offer!

Jacqui Sampson
I am thrilled to have got so far in
this wonderful opportunity! I had started to think I had left it
all too late to pursue my lifetime ambition of a career in
Television. I already feel like such a winner to have been lucky
enough to be invited to participate in the next stage! I feel so
confident and positive about taking part. I am looking forward to
making the most of whatever time I am fortunate to have at Hop
Farm. I fully intend to enjoy the experience, making the most of
the training and expertise for as long as possible.
To actually win would mean to me, that
far from being too late for me it is just the beginning! The
beginning of an exciting exploration into a dream of a career
opportunity. Winning would be a golden opportunity to develop and
discover my potential. I hope that to win would enable me to make
my career dream of being a Television Presenter come true!

Louise Colyer
Hi! My name is Louise Colyer,
currently an A Level Student who happened to hear about the search for
a television presenter competition through a friend who worked for
Life TV.
To get through to this stage of the
competition I had to film a three minute video, my three minutes
included me discussing the weird and wonderful world of SHEEP!,
chocolate and fishing, all of which were irrelevant to my daily
lifestyle, hobbies etc. (perhaps with the exception of CHOCOLATE!!).
My daily routine includes my A Level
studies (English, religious Studies and History), my part time job at
Primark (otherwise known as Primarni or Primarda) where I am a weekend
supervisor and when I have the time, energy or inclination, the gym.
Sometimes I can even push myself to a full fifteen minute work-out!
I have lived in Kent all of my life
and love the county for its wide and varied offering of things to see,
do, and places to go (Girls we have Bluewater here!!).
It would be a privilege for this,
Kentish lass, to be able
to present a programme based upon local issues and events.
I am outgoing, love to smile, laugh
and generally have a good time. I absolutely love being the centre of
attention. All of which leads me to believe that being in the public
eye and presenting on television would be just the job for me.

The reason that I
would love to win this competition is that I truly live to entertain.
In my part time I am
an actress and have been performing live on the stage since I was 12
years old. I love the thrill of making people laugh and communicating
with an audience and that's why I feel I would make a great
presenter.
I'm confident and
outgoing with a very lovable personality and think I could bring a
witty and entertaining character to television and I promise to be a
little bit crazy too!
Seriously though, it
is my dream to work in television and I would love to have the
opportunity to prove that I could do it, and do it well.

Adam John-Ridgway
AKA Adam John for short!
At 6ft 5inches tall being called Adam-John for short
seems like a bit of a contradiction!
I was recently employed as Production Runner on Ready Steady Cook at
Endemol UK and I am now working on a new celebrity channel in research
and production.
Since starting in the industry in October 2005 with a foundation of
knowledge of television production, I have progressed through my
position, meeting all deadlines and challenges set. By using my
initiative and previous experience I have been able to take on further
responsibilities and get a strong involvement in various areas of the
TV world, working along side teams and gaining a wealth of experience.
I have a catalogue of new ideas for television shows that I want to be
a part of and to share these with you would be very exciting.
I made the decision to undergo a dramatic change of career and in
doing so I have given up the corporate world in order to achieve my
dream.
Winning a job contract with SEE TV would be a fantastic opportunity
for me to show what I can do and pave the way for my lifelong dream
career in TV.
So, if you think you can find a TV personality that can entertain you
in a more charismatic, charming and humorous way.. then please may I
suggest that you don't expose them to Kryptonite and you certainly
don't let them wear their red pants over their trousers!
I really do want to spend the rest of my life entertaining you, I love
to laugh and I have a giant personality to offer so please make my
dream come true, laugh at and with me and please get voting!!

Sarah Robinson
I’m so excited about this whole
experience!
A little bit about me… I am 20 years
old. I live in Sevenoaks, Kent so am another local girl. I am
always up for a challenge and I love new experiences. I go to the
gym, I swim, ski and speak basic Spanish. I love being on camera
and in front of an audience. I never stop smiling and I always have
a positive attitude. I’m confident and enthusiastic.
I have had no previous television
experience but I am a natural in front of the camera!
I really want to win this competition
since it is my dream to become a presenter. I feel that I have
the sparkle and charisma that you are looking for.

Monica Gibson
Since a very young age
I have always wanted to be a TV presenter and my friends and
family have been saying the same to me all my life.
I have no problem
being the centre of attention and seem to have a natural talent for
communication.
TV Presenting would be
so different from my current job in finance, but I would give it all
up to achieve my dream... maybe I might end up combining the two roles
and becoming a Carol Vorderman type combining my financial skills with
my dream of Presenting!! |
