Life TV, Glamour Job and the TV Training Academy are on the lookout for talent . . .

Life TV is a channel which has been broadcasting on the Sky platform for the last 5 years. The Company has been undergoing big changes over the last few months and they have been out and about filming events for their new shows. This is because they are about to launch a new channel called  SEETV.

As a result of this, they are launching a 'Search for a Presenter' competition. This is a 'NOT TO BE MISSED' opportunity for ‘wannabe’ presenters . and will create a super series for the new TV service as we follow the fortunes of 10 ‘hopefuls' through to their final judgement day.

Finalists will take part in a televised TV Presenter Course and in the grand finale they will get a chance to "strut their stuff" on air to decide who  will be offered a job with parent company Life TV*.

The show will be televised weekly from Tuesday 6th June on SKY channel 139. Rachel Holweger, Publicity Manager for the channel comments that 'this is a very exciting project to be involved with. We have teamed up with a panel of experts in the world of television so that we find the ideal candidate. It is a great time for a new presenter to come on board as there are many plans in store to produce unique programmes for the future.

Entry is free... no membership required.

Send in a 3 minute (home) video (must be normal VHS format, NOT Digital 8) or DVD of themselves presenting the subject or subjects of their choice, together with a recent photo.  This does NOT have to be a professional showreel... in fact, we would prefer it if it wasn't as we are keen to give a new face the opportunity of a lifetime.

Panel of Judges

Initial applicants will be narrowed down by our panel of judges, Val Haydon founder of Glamourjob.com, Darren Simmons and Brian Naylor from the Television Training Academy and John Hammond from Life TV,  who will choose the 10 finalists.

The finalists are then put through to attend a training programme at The Hop Farm Country Park in Paddock Wood specifically planned by Darren and Brian and will at the end of the four day course compete in a live final for the prize of a contract as presenter for Life TV.
